Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency convened a public hearing on the One Hills Apartments Project in Bahria Hills, Islamabad, bringing together project representatives, local residents and concerned organizations to discuss environmental and community concerns related to Towers I and III.
The hearing addressed the proposed One Hills Apartments Project, comprising Tower-I and Tower-III on Hill Top Road in Bahria Hills. The session was organized by Pak-EPA as part of the project’s environmental review process and provided a forum for stakeholders to raise questions and offer input.
The meeting was held at Umania Restaurant and Banquets Hall on Main Murree Road in Bhara Kahu and was chaired by Khalid Mehmood Chadhar, Director (EIA/Monitoring) at Pak-EPA. Representatives of the project proponent presented project details while members of the local community and various organizations participated to convey their views and concerns.
Pak-EPA officials listened to the feedback from all parties during the proceedings. The contributions from stakeholders will be recorded as part of the agency’s assessment of the project under the applicable environmental review procedures.
