Health Services Academy Visit by Federal Health Minister

Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal visited the Health Services Academy to meet with the institution’s vice chancellor and discuss ways to strengthen and expand public health education. The meeting focused on improving training, curriculum, research, and collaboration between the academy and the federal health ministry.

During his visit, the minister toured the academy’s facilities and met with senior faculty and administrators. He reviewed the academy’s current programs and expressed interest in understanding its capacity to train future public health professionals who can respond to national health challenges.

In discussions with the vice chancellor, both parties explored measures to enhance public health education, including updating curricula to reflect modern public health needs, expanding practical training and internship opportunities, and increasing faculty development.
