Celebrating Milad-un-Nabi at Rawalpindi Womens College
A spiritually uplifting Milad-un-Nabi event took place at the Government Associate College for Women in F-Block Satellite Town Rawalpindi, bringing students together to reflect on the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The ceremony emphasized the importance of the Seerah and moral guidance for young women studying in the city.
The program opened with the recitation of the Holy Quran, setting a contemplative tone, followed by heartfelt naat recitations performed by students who paid tribute to the Prophet ﷺ with devotion and sincerity. The cultural and spiritual expressions were well received by attendees and created a respectful atmosphere throughout the college hall.
Asma Tariq and Rizwana Nazir delivered thoughtful speeches that explored the exemplary character and timeless guidance of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, connecting his teachings to the everyday challenges and responsibilities faced by today’s students. Their remarks highlighted practical ways students can embody compassion, integrity, and community service in their academic and personal lives.
The college principal, Ms. Ghazala Yasmin, urged students to internalize the lessons of the Seerah and apply Islamic values in daily conduct, stressing that such principles are central to building strong moral character and promoting harmony within Pakistani society. A special prayer led by Ms. Asiya Asad marked the conclusion of the gathering, invoking peace, prosperity, and well-being for the Muslim Ummah, Pakistan, and Muslims worldwide. The collective dua underscored the community spirit and shared hopes of the participants.
