Promoting Rwanda investment at Rawalpindi Business Forum
On 2 October, High Commissioner Harerimana Fatou joined fellow African ambassadors in Pakistan for the Business Africa Forum, an event organized by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) to strengthen ties and promote Africa’s shared interests.
The forum was attended by the Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Commerce and Industries, Mr Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan, underlining the event’s significance for bilateral trade dialogue. During the session the High Commissioner delivered a presentation on business and investment opportunities in Rwanda, highlighting the country’s vibrant growth, innovation and investor-friendly environment.
The presentation on Rwanda investment showcased the nation’s progress in creating a welcoming climate for foreign partners and outlined avenues for collaboration that could benefit both African missions and Pakistani businesses. Emphasis was placed on Rwanda’s commitment to innovation and policies designed to attract responsible investment.
The gathering provided a valuable platform for unity and collaboration among African missions in Pakistan, and reinforced efforts by the RCCI and diplomatic representatives to deepen economic engagement and explore concrete avenues for trade and investment between Rwanda and Pakistan.
