Expanding Padel Tennis Access in Islamabad
A new Padel Tennis court opened at F-7/2, Islamabad, as part of ongoing efforts to promote sports at the grassroots level and broaden opportunities for young players. The facility aims to introduce more students and young athletes to Padel Tennis and provide a local venue for training and friendly competition.
The inauguration was led by Mr. Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, Federal Secretary of the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC), with Mr. Yasir Pirzada, Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board, in attendance. Their presence underlined the joint commitment of the Ministry of IPC and the Pakistan Sports Board to foster active lifestyles and support youth development through organized sports.
Local youth and school-level participants are expected to benefit from the new court, which complements broader initiatives to make Padel Tennis more accessible across Islamabad. Continued collaboration between the Ministry of IPC and PSB will focus on creating sustained opportunities for talent development and community engagement in the sport.
