AIOU Students Embrace Russian Language Program
Ambassador Albert P. Khorev participated in a diploma ceremony at Allama Iqbal Open University celebrating the completion of a three-month Russian language course, recognising student dedication and the growing interest in Russian language studies across Pakistan.
Graduates demonstrated their proficiency by reciting excerpts from Alexander Pushkin’s classic poem Ruslan and Lyudmila, an exercise that highlighted both linguistic progress and engagement with Russian literature.
Organisers extended thanks to Allama Iqbal Open University, the Russian Ministry of Education and Professor Ekaterina Andriets for their support in delivering the course, which aims to broaden opportunities for Pakistani students through Russian language learning and cultural exchange.
Ambassador Khorev praised the graduates and noted the importance of such programmes in strengthening educational ties between Russia and Pakistan; information on upcoming enrolment windows will be shared through official channels.
