Celebrating Retirement of Inspector Zaheer Beg

A farewell ceremony was held at the Police Lines Headquarters in Rawalpindi to mark the retirement of Inspector Zaheer Beg after a 40-year career. CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani, along with SP Headquarters, SP Patrolling, SP CIA, SP Security, DSP Headquarters and other senior officers, attended the event to pay tribute to the retiring officer.

The CPO presented an honor shield to Inspector Zaheer Beg and praised his long-standing contribution to the department. CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani described his service to Rawalpindi Police as unforgettable and conveyed appreciation for a career carried out with dignity and commitment.

Inspector Zaheer Beg was recognized during the ceremony with 150 appreciation certificates and cash awards in acknowledgment of his exemplary performance over four decades. Colleagues noted that throughout his 40-year tenure he never reported late for duty and never received disciplinary action, a record reflecting his dedication and professionalism.

Speaking at the event, Inspector Zaheer Beg expressed gratitude and said he always performed his duties with hard work and honesty. He reflected on serving in both Rawalpindi and Gujrat districts with pride, and mentioned that both of his children hold master’s degrees and that his son serves as an SHO.

The ceremony concluded with the CPO and other officers sending Inspector Zaheer Beg off with best wishes for his retirement and future. The remarks and arrangements were confirmed by the Rawalpindi Police spokesperson.
