Azima Dhanjee, CEO and Co-founder of ConnectHear, met with Federal Minister for IT & Telecom Shaza Fatima Khawaja to discuss the advancement of inclusive technology solutions aimed at supporting Pakistan’s hearing-impaired community. The meeting focused on exploring collaborative efforts to enhance accessibility through innovation.

ConnectHear, a Pakistan-based startup, specializes in sign language interpretation services and artificial intelligence-powered tools designed to bridge communication gaps for the Deaf community. During the discussion, Ms. Dhanjee highlighted the company’s mission to empower individuals with hearing impairments by providing user-friendly and effective tech-driven resources.

Federal Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja reaffirmed the government’s commitment to creating an equitable and accessible environment for all Pakistanis, emphasizing the critical role that technology plays in fostering social inclusion. She expressed support for initiatives that harness digital solutions to address the needs of marginalized groups, particularly the Deaf and hearing-impaired populations.
