Punjab Highway Patrol Targets Wanted Criminals with E Police
Under the supervision of Regional Officer SP Faisal Saleem, the Punjab Highway Patrol in the Rawalpindi region used the E-Police App during a checkpoint at Kotke post to apprehend three Category A proclaimed offenders wanted in serious cases across multiple districts.
In the first action, officers arrested a suspect wanted in case No 1354/25 registered at Police Station Taxila under sections 324/302/34 PPC for murder and handed the individual over to Police Station Hazro for further legal proceedings.
The second arrest involved a proclaimed offender sought in Sindh’s Dadu district in case No 5/22 under sections 324/349/148/149 PPC from Police Station Gatti Jatoi; the suspect was taken into custody and transferred to the concerned police for investigation.
The third operation led to the arrest of a Haripur resident who was wanted in case No 54/21 under sections 393/397/34 PPC at Police Station Artillery Maidan, South Karachi, in a dacoity with weapons case. He has been handed to the relevant police authorities.
All arrested suspects have been transferred to the respective police stations for formal legal action. The Punjab Highway Patrol continues to prioritise protection of lives and property by combining proactive patrolling with modern technology, maintaining vigilant surveillance and swift response across the Rawalpindi region.
