Horticulture Agency Beautifies Childrens Park Rawalpindi

The Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi has completed a targeted beautification and winter protection effort at Childrens Park Rawalpindi, located at Committee Chowk, creating inviting views of colorful flowers and well-tended plants. The work, carried out under the direction of the agency’s management, aims to offer citizens improved recreation and safety in green spaces across the city.

On the instructions of Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, staff focused on protecting bedding plants and seasonal flowers from the effects of cold weather while enhancing pathways and leisure areas so families can enjoy the park. The displays of vibrant blooms now present a spring-like scene despite the season, drawing residents in large numbers for outdoor time and relaxation.

Agency teams worked through coordinated resource use to maintain plant health and upgrade entertainment facilities, with gardeners carrying out daily maintenance and targeted cold-weather measures. The Horticulture Agency emphasized practical steps to preserve plantings in green belts and parks, ensuring that Childrens Park Rawalpindi remains welcoming and safe for visitors.

Alongside the park improvements, a vigorous tree plantation campaign is underway across Rawalpindi to help reduce environmental pollution and smog. Officials said these efforts support the Punjab government’s vision to make the city greener and to provide healthier recreational environments for families, while staff continue to tend to plants day and night to safeguard the city’s urban greenery.
