During the visit, he received a comprehensive briefing on Yili’s diverse product line and expansive distribution network. Yili, one of China’s top dairy companies, is headquartered in Inner Mongolia and plays a significant role in the region’s economy.
Discussions focused on opportunities for collaboration between Yili and partners in Pakistan, particularly in the dairy sector, with an emphasis on exploring avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation. The ambassador highlighted the strong potential for joint ventures and knowledge sharing that could strengthen dairy production and processing in both countries.
As part of his visit, Ambassador Hashmi extended an invitation to Yili’s senior leadership to attend the upcoming Pakistan-China B2B Investment Conference in Beijing. The event, scheduled during the Pakistani Prime Minister’s visit, aims to foster new partnerships and attract investment across key industries, including dairy.
