Türkiye and Pakistan Foreign Ministers Meet in Doha

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Doha on the sidelines of the Foreign Ministers Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation–Arab League Joint Extraordinary Summit to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation.

The meeting took place on the margins of the high-level foreign ministers session convened alongside the joint OIC–Arab League summit in Doha. Both ministers attended the session as part of their respective delegations.

During their discussion, the two officials exchanged views on the overall state of Turkey–Pakistan ties and explored opportunities to deepen cooperation across political and diplomatic channels. They also spoke about regional developments and the importance of coordination within multilateral forums.

The meeting underscores continued engagement between Ankara and Islamabad at senior levels and reflects both countries’ interest in maintaining close communication and collaboration within regional and international platforms.
