Morgah Police Bust Gold Theft Ring in Rawalpindi

Morgah police in Rawalpindi have arrested a domestic worker, her husband and an accomplice in connection with a gold theft that occurred four months ago. Authorities recovered 40 lakh rupees believed to be proceeds from the sale of the stolen jewelry.

Investigators say the suspect and her associate entered the house under the pretext of household work and provided a false name to the homeowner. After stealing the gold jewelry the woman went into hiding, prompting a multi-faceted inquiry by local officers.

Using a mix of technical tools and human intelligence the police traced and detained the domestic worker, her husband and the reported accomplice. Raids are continuing to locate and apprehend additional associates and facilitators linked to the gold theft.

SP Pothohar Talha Wali urged citizens to ensure registration of domestic employees and warned that those who attack life and property will not escape the law. The Rawalpindi police spokesperson said the investigation remains active and further arrests are expected as the case develops.
