Medical Device Digital Registration System Launched in Pakistan

Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal reviewed the preparations for the inauguration ceremony of the digital system for the registration and licensing of medical devices, developed under the Federal Ministry of Health and the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP). The event, which is set to be officially launched by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, is ready for its historic unveiling.
During the preparatory meeting, senior officials including the Health Secretary, Director General of Health, DRAP’s Chief Executive Officer, as well as media and digital media teams, and other organizers were present. The new digital system aims to streamline and modernize the registration and licensing processes for medical devices, marking a significant step forward in the country’s healthcare regulation.
