FG Polo produced a commanding display to overcome Team Balochistan 8-5 on the second day of the Diamond Paints Cup 2026 at Jinnah Polo Fields in Lahore.
In the only match of the day, FG Polo’s coordinated attack and sharp riding saw Raja Mikayial Sami and Marcos Rivarola each finish with three goals, while Abdul Rehman Monnoo and Sheikh Muhammad Farhad added one goal apiece to secure the victory.
Team Balochistan showed grit throughout the contest and relied on a remarkable individual effort from Raja Samiullah, who scored all five goals for his side, but the visitors were unable to contain FG Polo’s collective pressure.
The 10-goal Diamond Paints Cup, sponsored by Diamond Paints, continues to draw strong local interest with families and polo supporters filling the stands. The match was attended by Diamond Paints CEO Mir Shoaib Ahmed, Director Mir Huzaifa Ahmed, Jinnah Polo Fields Club Secretary Maj (R) Adil Sultan Rao, former players and a sizeable crowd of spectators.
