CDA Meeting Pledges Enhanced Care for Growing Urban Population

Islamabad: In a high-level meeting held at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Headquarters, Chairman CDA, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, and Director General Civil Defense Muhammad Ali Randhawa underscored the urgent need to enhance healthcare facilities for both CDA employees and the broader population of Islamabad. The meeting was attended by CDA Member Admin, Member Finance, and other senior officials.

Chaired by Randhawa, the session focused on elevating medical services in the capital, including improvements to emergency care, outpatient departments (OPD), patient management, and laboratory infrastructure across various sectors. The Chairman emphasized that these steps are critical in addressing the growing healthcare demands of the city’s expanding population.

“Our aim is not only to ensure the welfare of CDA officers, employees, and their families but also to raise the standard of public healthcare across Islamabad,” Randhawa stated. He added that the CDA is working diligently within its available resources to provide quality medical care and that sustained improvements are essential to meet the community’s rising needs.

Randhawa emphasized that the welfare of CDA staff remains the authority’s top priority. He reiterated that strengthening healthcare infrastructure would lead to more efficient service delivery and better access to modern medical technologies for patients.

The Chairman concluded the meeting by affirming that the planned upgrades in CDA healthcare services would ultimately benefit all citizens of Islamabad, promoting broader access to reliable and quality health services.
