Dr. Nadeem Ahmed Malik Among PMAS-Arid University Officials Departing for Umrah

A dignified farewell ceremony was held at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi as senior officials prepared to travel to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah. The PMAS Arid Umrah sendoff was led by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qamar-uz-Zaman and attended by the Registrar, deans, directors and faculty members who joined to express their good wishes.

Dr. Nadeem Ahmed Malik, Director IT Services, and Dr. Waris Ali, Director Procurement, were formally seen off with garlands presented as a mark of respect and goodwill. The Vice Chancellor congratulated them on the opportunity to undertake the sacred journey and conveyed the university’s best wishes for their safe travel and successful pilgrimage.

The Vice Chancellor also requested that during their time in the Holy Land they offer special prayers for the continued progress, stability and prosperity of the university and the country. The university community collectively extended prayers for the acceptance of their Umrah and their safe return home.
