PHA Rawalpindi Horticultural Work Brightens Chandni Chowk

Rawalpindi’s Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has completed an impressive horticultural makeover at Chandni Chowk, transforming the area into a vibrant and aesthetically pleasing space that has been warmly received by the public. The initiative aims to promote an eco-friendly environment while creating a recreational and visually appealing locale for residents and visitors alike.
Under the guidance of Director General Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, the PHA undertook comprehensive beautification efforts, planting colorful flowers and attractive greenery around Chandni Chowk. The project also included the installation of decorative elements and floral arrangements that have significantly enhanced the area’s visual appeal. Additionally, artistic embroidery designs on the walls beneath the Metro Bus Bridge have created breathtaking visuals, further contributing to the locale’s charm.
The authorities also paid special attention to areas beneath the Chandni Chowk flyover, ensuring that these spaces are maintained as lush, clean, and inviting. The DG emphasized that these efforts are part of a broader strategy to beautify Rawalpindi, fostering a healthy and green environment while raising public awareness about cleanliness and environmental preservation.
Highlighting the city’s developmental vision, Ahmed Hassan Ranjha reiterated PHA’s commitment to making Rawalpindi the most beautiful city in Punjab. He underscored the importance of tree plantation and green spaces in combating adverse weather effects and enhancing urban resilience. The PHA seeks active public cooperation in maintaining the new greenery and safeguarding the city’s environmental integrity.
Overall, the beautification of Chandni Chowk marks a significant step in Rawalpindi’s environmental and aesthetic development plans. With continued efforts in horticulture and community participation, the city aims to become a model of cleanliness, greenery, and urban beauty in the region.
