Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Announces Loan Scheme for Employees’ Welfare

In a significant move to enhance the welfare of employees at the National Assembly Secretariat, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has facilitated the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Allied Bank to introduce an accessible loan scheme. This initiative aims to provide National Assembly employees with easy-to-conditions loans for home construction, purchase, renovation, and vehicle acquisition, offering considerable financial relief and support. The scheme is expected to benefit employees, especially those with lower incomes, helping them realize their dreams of owning a home or vehicle.

Following the efforts spearheaded by Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the agreement with Allied Bank was formalized at the Parliament House, ensuring that qualifying employees will have the opportunity to avail themselves of the loan facility through Allied Bank’s branch located within the premises. Under this scheme, employees holding accounts with Allied Bank will be eligible to apply for loans under relaxed conditions without any service fees charged during the process. The initiative underscores the government’s commitment to improving the living standards and financial security of public servants working within the parliamentary system.

The scheme is particularly encouraging for employees with limited income, as it provides an affordable pathway for them to build or purchase their own homes, bridging financial gaps that may have previously hindered such aspirations. The initiative is expected to bring appreciable relief to the employees of the National Assembly and Senate, many of whom have expressed gratitude for this thoughtful intervention by the leadership.

Sardar Ayaz Sadiq appreciated the collaborative efforts of the Secretary General of the National Assembly, Additional Secretary, Legal Advisor, and other officials involved in making this scheme a reality. He also extended his thanks to Allied Bank’s management for their generous cooperation and support in launching the program. The officials and staff of the National Assembly Secretariat lauded the decision, highlighting it as a commendable step toward employee welfare.

The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both the National Assembly and Allied Bank, marking a milestone in social responsibility and employee support. The move has been highly praised across the parliamentary community, reflecting a shared commitment to enhancing the well-being of public servants and fostering a supportive work environment.
