99th Quaid-e-Azam Mazar Management Board Meeting Highlights

The 99th Board of Directors meeting of the Quaid-e-Azam Mazar Management Board (QMMB) was recently held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Division, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, attended by Parliamentary Secretary Farah Naz Akbar, Secretary of the National Heritage and Culture Division, along with other Board Directors and senior officials.
During the session, board members reviewed ongoing initiatives aimed at maintaining and improving the standards of the Quaid-e-Azam Mazar, emphasizing its importance as a prominent national monument and historical heritage. The participants exchanged views on enhancing visitor experiences, upgrading facilities, and ensuring effective administration and caretaking of the site.
Minister Aurangzeb Khan Khichi highlighted the significance of the mausoleum as a symbol of national pride and unity. He emphasized the Federal Government’s commitment to ensuring its preservation, development, and effective management through coordinated efforts of relevant authorities.
Parliamentary Secretary Farah Naz Akbar expressed the need for proactive measures to further uplift the standards of visitor amenities, security measures, cleanliness, and aesthetic infrastructure within the mausoleum’s premises.
Senior officials attending the meeting presented briefs detailing current plans and addressed challenges in the conservation of this historically significant national heritage site. The board agreed upon various strategies and measures aimed at ensuring continuous improvement and sustainable maintenance of the Quaid-e-Azam Mazar as a revered historical landmark.
