Digital Pakistan Elevates Coding Talent at DPSPC 2025

Ms. Wajiha Qamar, Minister of State for Federal Education & Professional Training, attended the Digital Pakistan Speed Programming Competition (DPSPC) 2025 at GIKI, where she celebrated the achievements of Pakistan’s emerging tech talent and underscored the country’s progress in digital innovation. The event, organized by Ignite – National Technology Fund under the Ministry of IT & Telecom, highlighted the increasing role of youth in propelling Pakistan’s technological development.
A notable feature of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI). This partnership marks a significant step forward in fostering collaboration between industry and academia, aiming to bridge gaps and promote skill development among students.
The competition recognized outstanding young coders for their exceptional programming talents, reflecting another achievement in the country’s Digital Pakistan initiative. The celebration of these achievers not only encourages innovation but also reinforces the government’s commitment to supporting youth involvement in the tech sector.
