Pakistan Red Crescent Hands Over Ambulances to Punjab

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society’s National Headquarters has delivered three well-equipped ambulances to the PRCS Punjab Branch to bolster flood response capacity across the province. The handover, carried out on the instructions of PRCS Chairperson Farzhana Naek, was led by Secretary General Muhammad Abaid Ullah Khan and received by PRCS Punjab Chairman Mian Muhammad Hanif.

Chairperson Farzhana Naek directed the transfer as part of the Society’s efforts to strengthen emergency preparedness and response in flood-prone areas. The additional ambulances are intended to expand the branch’s operational reach and improve the speed and quality of medical assistance during flood incidents.

Secretary General Muhammad Abaid Ullah Khan formally handed the vehicles to Mian Muhammad Hanif in a ceremonial transfer that emphasized coordination between national and provincial branches. The ambulances are equipped to support rapid response teams in multiple regions of Punjab.

PRCS said the reinforcement reaffirms its commitment to providing timely, life-saving humanitarian support to the most vulnerable communities. The delivery is part of broader efforts to enhance the Society’s emergency response capabilities and ensure effective assistance during natural disasters.
