Amid ongoing developments surrounding the Illegal Foreigners Repatriation Plan (IFRP), the Society for Human Rights & Prisoners’ Aid (SHARP) is intensifying its efforts to ensure a coordinated, rights-based response for affected communities in Karachi.

In a recent strategic meeting, Ms. Quratulain, the officer in charge at SHARP Karachi, met with Mr. Justice (R) Hasan Feroz, Chairman of the Environmental Tribunal and Provincial Commissioner Scouts, as well as Ms. Asma Batool, Additional Deputy Commissioner (South). The session took place at the Sindh Boy Scouts Association Provincial Headquarters and brought together key stakeholders dedicated to addressing the human rights implications of the IFRP.

Discussions centered around recent developments in IFRP operations, particularly the status of holding centers established in Karachi.
