During their discussions, the two leaders focused on opportunities to strengthen collaboration in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, and telecommunications infrastructure. Notably, both sides explored avenues to upgrade the Pak-China Optical Fiber Cable, pursue joint initiatives in AI and cloud technology, and develop new submarine cable links to enhance connectivity.

A key highlight of the conversation was the proposal to establish a China-Pakistan Tech Hub, designed to foster innovation and create a robust ecosystem for technology exchange between the two nations.

Chinese officials lauded Pakistan’s digital vision and underscored the importance of ongoing cooperation to develop an inclusive and future-ready digital landscape. Both countries signaled their intention to prioritize these initiatives as part of their long-term strategic partnership in technology.
