Climate Change Awareness Through Student Wall Art

**Students Transform Airport Wall with Powerful Climate Change Art in Gilgit-Baltistan**

Students from Muslim Ideal School & College have harnessed their artistic talents to raise climate change awareness, transforming the front wall of the local airport into a striking canvas as part of a Wall Painting Competition organized by PRCS GB’s Youth & Volunteer Program. The initiative aimed to foster community resilience and encourage dialogue about environmental responsibility.

Armed with vibrant colors and inspired creativity, the students painted murals that deliver powerful messages of hope, resilience, and collective responsibility towards the environment. The artwork, now prominently displayed for all passersby, serves as a visual reminder and call to action for a more climate-conscious society.

To recognize exceptional talent and dedication, prizes were awarded to the top three students. The winners were selected by a committee that evaluated each artwork on the basis of creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall visual impact.

Organizers hailed the competition as a proud step towards youth engagement in climate advocacy, using urban art as a dynamic medium. By involving young people in this initiative, the program aims to inspire ongoing commitment to environmental challenges and promote active participation in building a sustainable future.
