Senate Chairman Hosts Condolences for Syed Tanveer Gillani

A number of prominent political leaders, parliamentarians, and representatives from various sectors gathered at the official residence of Senate Chairman Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani to offer their condolences on the passing of his cousin and former federal minister, Syed Tanveer Hassan Gilani.

Among those who visited were Governor of Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, Governor of Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Khalid Magsi, senators including Umar Farooq Kasi, Saifullah Abro, and Falak Naz, Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, Senator Hidayatullah, Chairman of the Kashmir Committee Rana Qasim Noon, former Senate Chairman Syed Nayyer Hussain Bokhari, senior Pakistan Peoples Party leader and MNA Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah, MNA Naveed Jeeva, and the son of Pir Naqeeb-ur-Rehman from Golra Sharif. Representatives from the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and other delegations also attended.

During the visits, prayers were offered for the departed soul, with special recitations led by the son of Pir Naqeeb-ur-Rehman. In their conversations with the Senate Chairman, the visiting dignitaries expressed solidarity and extended heartfelt sympathies, praying that God grant the late Syed Tanveer Hassan Gilani a high place in paradise and provide strength to the bereaved family to bear this great loss.
