UNFPA Pakistan has announced the winner of its project naming competition, recognizing outstanding contributions from staff and partner organizations. Ms. Saida Inayat from UNFPA Pakistan secured the top spot with her entry, “Sehat ka Safar,” which translates to “Journey to Health.” The project aims to support youth empowerment, community well-being, and women’s health across the country.

The runner-up in the competition was Ms. Asma Sattar from the Aga Khan Foundation, who suggested the name “Ba-Ikhtiyar Khandan,” meaning “Empowered Family.” Both entries were celebrated for their creativity and relevance to the project’s mission.

UNFPA Pakistan extended its gratitude to all participants from both the Aga Khan Foundation and UNFPA teams. The organization emphasized that collaborative efforts and innovative ideas like these are crucial for driving real change, especially in programs supported by partners such as the High Commission of Canada in Pakistan. The project will now move forward under its new name, inspired by the enthusiasm and vision of its stakeholders.
