The Director of the UAE Pakistan Assistance Program (UAEPAP), Mr. Abdulla Khalifa Saeed Alghfeli, paid a visit to Pakistan’s National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) for Polio, highlighting ongoing international support for the country’s fight against polio.
During the visit, Mr. Alghfeli met with Mr. Muhammad Anwar-ul Haq, Coordinator of the NEOC, who expressed gratitude for UAEPAP’s continued partnership in polio eradication efforts. The UAEPAP delegation also interacted with the NEOC core group and received in-depth briefings in the Control Room about Pakistan’s advanced systems for data digitization and for tracking children who miss vaccination.
Mr. Alghfeli praised Pakistan’s dedication to eliminating polio and reiterated UAEPAP’s commitment to working alongside local authorities in pursuit of a polio-free future.
