Seerat Rasool and National Unity for Pakistan’s Progress

Prominent Islamic scholar and leader of the Naqshbandia Owaisia order, Amir Abdul Qadeer Awan, has emphasized the need for collective effort and moral revival for Pakistan to overcome its challenges. Speaking at an event hosted by the National Press Club in Islamabad, he highlighted the crucial role media, religious guidance, and unity play in national development and resilience.

During his address, Abdul Qadeer Awan stressed that building a nation requires immense struggle and adherence to principles that foster progress. He noted that any society that has achieved success has done so by embracing such principles, whereas deviation leads to decline. Awan pointed out that today, Pakistan faces numerous crises, including natural disasters like floods, political instability, and moral decline. He attributed these problems to the abandonment of ethical values and a disconnect from the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.

He urged the media to fulfill its responsibility in guiding society and called upon politicians and individuals from all sectors to play a constructive and positive role. Awan emphasized the importance of upholding integrity, sincerity, and good character, arguing that these virtues have the potential to inspire people and bring about real change.

Acknowledging the sacrifices made by the country’s armed forces, he shared the story of a martyr’s father who said he would have willingly sacrificed all his sons for the nation. This, Awan said, exemplifies the nation’s spirit of sacrifice and perseverance in the face of adversity.

He also called for respectful observance of the month of Rabiul Awwal and urged everyone to follow the teachings of the Prophet. Highlighting the need for unity and harmony, he remarked on the challenges posed by external interference and enemies seeking to weaken Pakistan. He praised the armed forces for their recent victory in conflict, offering his salute and respect to their bravery.

The event was attended by President of the National Press Club Azhar Jatoi, senior journalists, and members of various press and media bodies, who welcomed Abdul Qadeer Awan and expressed gratitude for his visit. The gathering concluded with prayers for the continued progress and prosperity of the nation.
