Uzbekistan Independence Celebrated by RCCI and Diplomats

The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) joined prominent dignitaries in celebrating the 34th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence at a grand reception hosted by Ambassador Alisher Tukhtaev. RCCI President Usman Shaukat attended as Guest of Honor, accompanied by Vice President Fahad Barlas.

The event was marked by the presence of Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Tourism Sardar Yasir Ilyas, and several other notable figures from various sectors. The reception highlighted Uzbekistan’s significant economic and social progress since gaining independence, reflecting the country’s commitment to building a “New Uzbekistan.”

During the celebration, guests discussed the strengthening ties between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, emphasizing opportunities for increased cooperation in trade, investment, and tourism. The event underscored ongoing efforts to foster mutual understanding and support between the two nations as Uzbekistan continues its path toward growth and modernization.
