Ambassador Khalil Hashmi met with H.E. Nurlan Yermekbayev, Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, to congratulate him on the successful conclusion of the recent SCO summit and to reaffirm Pakistan’s strong support for the organization. The two officials also discussed ways to deepen cooperation between Pakistan and the SCO following the summit’s adoption of 27 outcome documents.
During the meeting, Ambassador Hashmi praised the summit’s accomplishments and specifically welcomed the adoption of 27 outcome documents, describing them as a positive step for regional collaboration.
