Islamabad: The Saarosh ADR Center has organized its third training workshop on arbitration at the Islamabad Bar Council hall, focusing on equipping law students and young professionals with practical skills in alternative dispute resolution (ADR). The event attracted participants from 12 leading law colleges and universities across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and nearby regions.

The workshop, titled “Journey of Arbitration – From Notice to Award”, was designed to deepen participants’ understanding of arbitration as an effective tool for resolving disputes outside the traditional court system. Attendees were guided through every stage of the arbitration process, starting with the issuance of notices and ending with the drafting and delivery of awards.

Senior advocates, experienced arbitrators, and dispute resolution experts delivered lectures and conducted interactive sessions. They shared practical insights into drafting notices, managing arbitration proceedings, and understanding the legal framework governing arbitration in Pakistan. Speakers highlighted how ADR can play a vital role in reducing the burden on courts and ensuring faster, more cost-effective justice.

Law students attending the session praised the initiative, emphasizing that such workshops enrich their academic learning and better prepare them to handle real-world legal challenges in their future careers.

The Saarosh ADR Center also announced plans to expand its training programs, with further workshops and sessions scheduled in the coming months. The aim is to build capacity among young lawyers and increase awareness of arbitration and mediation practices across Pakistan.
