Stakeholders at the meeting noted that streamlined medical device registration will help manufacturers and healthcare providers plan more effectively while accelerating patient access to approved technologies.
During the event, several prominent experts in the medical device field were honoured with lifetime awards in recognition of their contributions to the sector. The minister reiterated the government’s commitment to fair resource allocation and continued regulatory reforms that support innovation, quality and accountability in Pakistan’s health technology landscape.
