Islamabad: The Ziyad Akram Khan Durrani Memorial Football Tournament 2025 was officially inaugurated today at the Bannu Sports Complex in a grand ceremony attended by notable personalities, sports officials, and football lovers from across the region. 
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Tehsil Mayor Irfan Durrani, Former District Member Malik Abrar Khan, Sinan Durrani, Advocate & Tehsil Member Yasir Khan, Tehsil Member Raza Muhammad Khan, and Former Tehsil Member Dalniaz Khan. Alongside them, all the officials of the Sports Association, leaders of the Football Association, representatives of the media, and a large gathering of enthusiastic citizens of Bannu were also present.
Speaking at the occasion, the guests highlighted the importance of promoting healthy activities such as football in the youth 
of Bannu and appreciated the organizers for holding the prestigious tournament in memory of Ziyad Akram Khan Durrani. They expressed their hopes that the event will not only provide a platform for local talent but also strengthen unity, sportsmanship, and the spirit of competition in the region.
The Football Association of Bannu extended heartfelt gratitude to all the distinguished guests, participants, and the people of Bannu for their support. They also offered prayers for the successful continuation of the tournament, expressing confidence that with the blessings of Allah Almighty, the Ziyad Akram Khan Durrani Memorial Football Tournament will become a symbol of sporting excellence and community prosperity.
