Advancing Balochistan Development Through Federal Projects

A delegation representing several districts of Balochistan met with Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan at Parliament House to press for faster delivery on development and public welfare initiatives. The talks centered on ongoing federal projects and measures to improve living standards across the province, reflecting a shared urgency to advance Balochistan development.

Syedal Khan said the federal government under the Prime Minister remains committed to concrete progress in Balochistan, emphasising investments in education, healthcare and job creation alongside essential infrastructure upgrades. He highlighted that a coordinated approach is needed to translate policy commitments into visible, local improvements.

The Deputy Chairman pointed to major projects such as Gwadar Port, expanded road networks and new industrial zones as long-term engines of prosperity for the province. He framed these initiatives as integral to creating employment, improving access to services and connecting remote communities to national markets.

Members of the delegation expressed appreciation for the federal efforts and commended Syedal Khan for actively championing provincial priorities in the Senate. They urged continued follow-through on scheduled projects and closer monitoring to ensure timely results for communities across Balochistan.

Syedal Khan reaffirmed his resolve to raise the province’s concerns at the national level and to work with the government to advance the vision of a stronger, more prosperous Pakistan. He said persistent advocacy and coordinated federal support remain essential to sustain momentum in Balochistan development.
