Islamabad, 1 December 2025 — The Embassy of Kazakhstan to Pakistan took part in the Global Destinations Expo 2025, organised by Discover Pakistan in partnership with the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation. The event gathered diplomatic delegates from Central Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East alongside leading figures from Pakistan’s tourism sector, creating a platform to highlight regional travel opportunities and cooperation.
At the Kazakhstan pavilion visitors were presented with a range of informational materials including brochures and thematic publications that outlined the country’s attractions. Video presentations screened during the expo showcased Kazakhstan’s natural landscapes, historical sites and popular destinations, offering Pakistani travellers a detailed look at what the country has to offer and reinforcing Kazakhstan tourism as an emerging choice for regional trips.
The Embassy also served elements of traditional Kazakh cuisine and displayed souvenir products adorned with national ornaments, which drew steady interest from guests. These cultural touches complemented the informational displays and helped spark conversations about people-to-people exchange and travel experiences between Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
Participants at the expo praised Kazakhstan’s tourism potential and described the country as a promising destination for Pakistani citizens. Organisers and stakeholders highlighted the role of Discover Pakistan and PTDC in bringing international destinations to Islamabad, noting the expo’s value in strengthening tourism ties and encouraging future travel and cultural exchange.
