NRE Results Show 2025 Pass Rates for Graduates
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council has released the NRE Results for Step-I held on December 14, 2025, under the supervision of the National University of Medical Sciences. A total of 7,012 candidates appeared in the exam and 1,473 were declared successful.
According to the NRE Results, medical graduates recorded an overall pass rate of 21.17%, while dental candidates posted a pass rate of 7.23%. Of the successful candidates, 1,467 were medical graduates and just six were dental graduates.
Candidates wishing to verify their outcomes can check the official council website by entering their roll numbers. The council has asked applicants to use the online portal for result confirmation and related queries.
PMDC said dates for NRE Step-II, the clinical examination, will be announced shortly. Candidates who clear both Step-I and Step-II will be issued a provisional registration certificate, enabling them to commence their house job in Pakistan.
The council also advised parents to ensure students seek admission only in recognised and approved medical and dental colleges abroad. PMDC warned that enrolment in substandard or unrecognised institutions can lead to financial loss and jeopardise future careers, urging families to confirm recognition status before accepting offers.
