Rawalpindi Police Bust Motorcycle Theft Ring
Rawalpindi police have arrested two suspects after a targeted operation uncovered a motorcycle theft scheme linked to a motorcycle showroom employee. The inquiry found that the employee was involved in facilitating the thefts and the illicit sale of stolen bikes.
Officers recovered five motorcycles and seized Rs 250,000 believed to be proceeds from motorcycle sales along with other items recovered during searches. The recovered vehicles and cash have been recorded as evidence while investigations continue into the extent of the operation.
Senior Superintendent of Police Rawalpindi Saad Arshad said those who deprive citizens of their valuable assets will not escape the reach of the law. The police spokesperson confirmed the arrests followed focused investigative work by local teams and that the suspects have been taken into custody for further questioning.
The case remains under active investigation as authorities seek any additional information from the public to trace further stolen property and hold all involved accountable for motorcycle theft.
