Aviation Security Review at Multan International Airport

**Director Security Reviews Aviation Security at Multan International Airport Ahead of Saudi Delegation Visit**
The Director Security of the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) conducted a comprehensive review of security arrangements at Multan International Airport in preparation for an expected visit by the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA). The inspection aimed to ensure the highest standards of aviation security at the facility.
During the visit, the Director Security chaired a high-level meeting attended by the Chief Operating Officer and Airport Manager (COO/APM), Chief Security Officer from the Airport Security Force (ASF), the Officer Commanding Security of the Pakistan Air Force, and key sectional heads from the PAA. The meeting featured an in-depth briefing by the COO/APM, covering existing security measures, current challenges, and plans for future improvements in security infrastructure at the airport.
The Director Security also undertook a detailed inspection of critical airport facilities, including the Terminal Building, the Facial Recognition System (FRS) Room, the Cargo Complex, and the newly established ASF Shared Screening Room. These inspections were aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of current protocols and identifying areas for further enhancement.
The Pakistan Airports Authority reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining rigorous aviation security across all its airports, underscoring the importance of readiness ahead of international assessments and visits.
