Reviving Liaquat Bagh with New Horticulture Effort
With the arrival of spring the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi has launched a focused drive to enhance the appearance of Liaquat Bagh through comprehensive planting, decoration and renovation efforts. Under the direction of Managing Director Ahmed Hassan Ranjha the agency has carried out extensive maintenance of flower beds, pathways and green spaces to present a vibrant public setting.
The agency has also completed significant horticultural work along the green belts of Liaquat Road to ensure a consistent streetscape across this central corridor. Teams are implementing protective measures to shield newly planted flowers and shrubs from weather stress while scheduling regular care to support healthy growth and seasonal flowering.
Staff of the Horticulture Agency are managing gardening and upkeep tasks with dedication and responsibility, making the park’s beds of colorful flowers and lush plants a springtime attraction. These efforts aim to provide citizens with a pleasant, safe and aesthetically pleasing recreational space, and local residents have welcomed the improvements while urging similar interventions across other city parks.
Work continues across Rawalpindi to strengthen urban greening and park services, with Liaquat Bagh serving as a flagship example of the Horticulture Agency’s seasonal programme to enhance public spaces and sustain green belts for long-term community benefit.
