Ayzaz Ur Rehman Wins Pak China Bowling Title

Ayzaz ur Rehman clinched the Pak China Bowling championship in Islamabad after posting 217 points in the final. Afzal Akhtar secured second place with 186 points and Daniyal Ejaz finished third with 172 points, while Haroon and Muhammad Hussain Chhatta took fourth and fifth positions respectively.

The opening ceremony for the Pak China Bowling event included cultural performances and was attended by Mustafa Hassan, Minister and Head of Mission of the Nigerian Embassy; Mr. Chen Peng, Counsellor at the Chinese Embassy; Shahid Islam, Deputy Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board; Patron Muhammad Amjad Hassan Qureshi; Federation President Ejaz ur Rehman; General Secretary Colonel (R) Kamran Khalid Janjua; and Altaf Hussain. Ejaz ur Rehman presented the championship report during the ceremony.

Matches are being played at Laser City Bowling Club in Safa Gold Mall, F-7 Markaz, Islamabad, with 20 players from Pakistan and 20 from China taking part and women’s competitions also underway. The Pak China Bowling championship highlighted sporting ties between the two countries and drew strong local interest at the Islamabad venue.
