Farewell Dinner Honours High Commissioner Ibrar Hussain Khan in Kenya

Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Kenya, His Excellency Mr. Ibrar Hussain Khan, was farewelled at a distinguished dinner hosted by the Pakistan Community Organization (Kenya) as he concluded his tenure in the country. The event celebrated his contributions to strengthening Pakistan-Kenya relations, supporting the Pakistani community, and fostering economic and diplomatic ties.
The farewell gathering saw participation from senior officials of the High Commission, including Commercial Counselor Madam Adeela Younis, Head of Chancery Mr. Shoaib Mansoor, Military Attaché Colonel Inam Muhammad Khattak, as well as community leaders such as Chairman Mr. Asif Amin Chaudhry, Vice Chairman Syed SherazAli, and other committee members of the PCO.
The Chairman of PCO commended H.E. Mr. Ibrar Hussain Khan for his dedicated service, highlighting key achievements during his tenure. These included efforts leading to the release of long-detained Pakistani nationals, boosting commercial activities between Pakistan and Kenya, and enhancing community engagement. The Chairman also acknowledged improvements in consular services and increased accessibility, as well as the strong collaboration between the High Commission and the Pakistani community, exemplified through events like the large-scale 14th August gathering attended by around 600 people.
Colonel Inam Muhammad Khattak also expressed appreciation for the High Commissioner’s impactful tenure, emphasizing the positive influence he had on fostering bilateral relations and community welfare.
The evening concluded with heartfelt interactions as H.E. Mr. Ibrar Hussain Khan expressed his gratitude towards the community and colleagues, sharing warm moments with committee members. The event was marked by a sense of camaraderie and well-wishes for his future endeavors, reflecting the high regard in which he is held by the Pakistani diaspora in Kenya.
