Chaudhry Imran Ilyas reaffirmed his commitment to resolve pressing local issues in Rawalpindi’s PP-11 during a meeting with community figures Mohammad Aamir Siddiqui and Faisal Ijaz Ansari. He promised focused action to improve roads, streets and basic utilities across the constituency, stressing that public trust must not be undermined.
Residents of Mohalla Faizan Mustafa Kotha Khurd raised concerns about unpaved lanes and other service gaps. Imran Ilyas assured them that paving of lanes, sewerage connections, reliable electricity and access to gas are top priorities and that work will move forward promptly to relieve citizens of these everyday burdens.
During the meeting, Mohammad Aamir Siddiqui and Faisal Ijaz Ansari congratulated Imran Ilyas on his appointments as Chairman of the Standing Committee on Agriculture and Fisheries and as a member of the Standing Committee on Home and Prisons Punjab. The leaders urged swift delivery of local projects to improve living conditions in the area.
Imran Ilyas highlighted the broader development momentum in Rawalpindi under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, noting that major infrastructure projects — roads, bridges, underpasses and flyovers — have transformed travel and access in the city. He said continued coordination with provincial initiatives will help bring modern facilities to PP-11.
The MPA pledged to stay engaged with community representatives to monitor progress and ensure timely completion of neighborhood upgrades. He emphasized a hands-on approach to public service and vowed to keep working until residents see measurable improvements in their daily lives.
