Act Now Against Drug Trafficking in Pind Bhagwal
Residents of Pind Bhagwal near Krapa Police Station staged protests and appealed directly to the Home Minister, the IG Islamabad and other senior officials to take legal action against rampant drug trafficking in their area.
Locals say drugs are being sold openly in Pind Bhagwal and that the young generation is increasingly becoming addicted. According to residents, drug dealers operate with such influence that ordinary citizens feel powerless to intervene, leaving families anxious about the future of their children and siblings.
Residents demanded strict legal action to dismantle the networks they say are devouring the youth and tarnishing futures across households. They asked authorities to hold those responsible to account so the community can be freed from the scourge that is affecting many lives.
The community urged swift and decisive steps from Islamabad’s leadership, calling for concrete measures to curb drug trafficking, safeguard young people and relieve families exhausted by the persistent problem.
