**SHARP Lahore Team Meets District Bar Leadership to Strengthen Legal Support for Marginalized Groups**

The SHARP Lahore team has met with senior officials from the District Bar Association Lahore to discuss ongoing legal aid initiatives and explore avenues for future collaboration to promote access to justice for vulnerable communities. The meeting marked a step forward in fostering mutual cooperation between the human rights organization and the city’s legal fraternity.

During the engagement, the SHARP team—comprising Field Manager Ms. Arooj Awan, Lawyer Ms. Farzana Kouser, and Legal Expert Mr. Shah Faisal—shared insights into the organization’s mandate and its dedication to promoting human rights in the region. They highlighted ongoing efforts to provide legal assistance to those most at risk, such as refugees and asylum seekers, and emphasized SHARP’s commitment to advocating for access to justice for all marginalized groups.

The meeting was attended by the President of the District Bar Association Lahore, Mr. Mubashar Rehman Chaudhry, and former Secretary Mr. Umar Waqas Warraich, along with other Bar Association members. The Bar leadership commended SHARP’s initiatives and expressed a keen interest in strengthening coordination with the organization. They underscored the importance of collaborative efforts to uphold justice and ensure effective legal support for underprivileged segments of society.

Both parties agreed that the interaction laid the groundwork for a closer partnership in advancing human rights and providing robust legal aid to those in need throughout Lahore.
