Improved Immigration System at Lahore Airport for Foreign Travelers

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has taken practical steps to improve Pakistan’s immigration system, acting on the Prime Minister’s directives. New immigration counters have been established for foreign passengers at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, aiming to make the immigration clearance process more efficient and to reduce unnecessary delays.
The newly introduced counters are designed to facilitate foreign tourists, investors, and business delegations, making their entry into Pakistan smoother and more welcoming. Authorities believe this initiative will encourage tourism, boost trade activity, and attract increased foreign investment to the country.
Additionally, the process for returning Pakistani nationals has been streamlined, making it quicker and simpler for them to clear immigration upon arrival. The overall goal of these measures is to upgrade Pakistan’s immigration services to meet international standards and enhance the country’s global image.
