OSINT Training for Combating Organized Crime with Crimewall

A practical training session has been organized to equip teams from the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA), the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), and the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) with advanced knowledge in using Social Links Crimewall and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) techniques to counter organized crime. The session is supported by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
During this comprehensive two-day program, participants are being trained in the latest applications of OSINT to enhance their investigative capabilities. Specific focus areas include cooperative data investigations and multi-source analysis, both critical in uncovering complex criminal activities. The training aims to strengthen the agencies’ abilities to gather, analyze, and act on information from a variety of open sources.
By utilizing cutting-edge tools like Social Links Crimewall, the participating agencies are expected to improve their efficiency in identifying criminal networks and responding to emerging threats. This initiative highlights ongoing international efforts to bolster law enforcement capacities in the effective fight against organized crime.
