A delegation of federal secretaries visited the National Emergencies Operation Center at the National Disaster Management Authority for a briefing on the ongoing monsoon situation and the agency’s response measures. Officials reviewed NDMA’s coordination with provincial and regional partners, its disaster risk reduction strategies, and the use of digital systems and advanced technology to support early warning, relief and rescue operations.
During the visit, NDMA staff presented a comprehensive assessment of current monsoon impacts and the Authority’s response activities.
