Driving Pakistan Lacrosse Growth Nationwide

The Pakistan Lacrosse Federation has unanimously elected Mansoor Ahmad Khan as its new president during an online General Council meeting attended by all members and international representatives. The decision signals a determined push to broaden the reach of Pakistan Lacrosse at grassroots and elite levels.

Mansoor Ahmad Khan brings extensive experience as a senior sports administrator, having served as Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board as well as Deputy Director General and Director Technical. His track record in developing sports infrastructure and athlete pathways positions him to guide the federation through its next phase of growth.

Under his leadership the federation will prioritise opportunities for youth, women and community-level athletes to learn and compete in lacrosse. The PLF plans to build on the sport’s rising profile in Asia and its recognition by the International Olympic Committee to create sustainable programs that reach schools, clubs and provincial centres.

The Pakistan Lacrosse Federation has already introduced the sport nationally, training thousands of boys and girls, running workshops and launching provincial and national events. With renewed direction from the new president, the federation aims to strengthen coaching, expand participation and improve competitive pathways for Pakistani players.

The federation’s vision under Mr Khan includes preparing teams for the Asian Lacrosse Games and World Championships and laying groundwork for future Olympic ambitions. General Council members and international delegates conveyed their confidence and support for this strategic direction as Pakistan Lacrosse looks to accelerate development across the country.
