Police Welfare Boosted by Free Medical Camp
On 4 October 2025 the Patrolling Police Rawalpindi Region under Regional Officer SP Faisal Saleem organised a free medical camp to support police employees and their families. The event focused on immediate health checks and distribution of medicines to improve on-duty readiness and community wellbeing.
The camp was arranged in collaboration with Trader Welfare Foundation Hospital (TWF), Roshan Health Research and Welfare Society Pakistan and Shifa Noor Foundation. CEO Sajid Hasan Butt and his team from TWF Hospital, Director Dr Zahid Ahmed and the Shifa Noor Foundation team, along with doctors Dr Mohsin Abbas, Dr Iman Maqsood, Dr Amna Siddiq and Dr Muhammad Ali provided clinical consultations and treatments during the camp.
Medical Officer of Police Line Hospital Dr Muhammad Abu Bakar attended with his staff to coordinate follow-up care. In recognition of their service, the regional officer presented honorary shields and certificates to the visiting medical teams and partner organisations for their support.
SP Faisal Saleem reiterated that police welfare remains a top priority and said initiatives like the free medical camp are essential to maintain the health and morale of personnel across the Rawalpindi region. The camp underlined a practical approach to strengthening police welfare through local partnerships and accessible care.
